F type (Impact Resistant Tungsten Carbide)

Alloys featuring in that the Co(cobalt) phase,which is a shock-absorbing phase,is thickened by using coarser particles of WC than G type so that shock resistance and wear resistance are improved.

RG type (Corrosion Resistant Tungsten Carbide)

Alloys featuring in that binder phase reinforcement is added so that the Co phase,which may cause corrosion,is solid-solution reinforced,thus improved in heat resistance corrosion resistance.Particularly,electrolytic corrosion due to wire cut and corrosion after polishing are prevented. Reinforced binder phase reduces occurrence of chipping and thermal cracks.

RT type (Corrosion Resistant/Impact Resistant Tungsten Carbide)

Alloys featuring in that the binder phase is reinforced and middle to coarse grains of WC are used so that heat resistance, corrosion resistance and shock resistance are improved. Particularly,some drawig or bottomed header dies can archive 5 to 10 times longer in life than conventional. Electrolytic corrosion due to wire cut and corrosion after polishing are prevented.These alloys are suitable for hot casting.

Alloys using fine-grain WC: high-strength and excellent in chipping resistance. Suited to tools that are required to have wear resistance and others. Special blending reduce propagation of thermal cracks due to wire cut or cracks due to stress.

WS type (Wear Resistant/Super Corrosion Resistant Tungsten Carbide)

Alloys of superfine grain type featuring in that the binder phase is reinforced. In addition to high wear resistance by high hardness, higher corrosion resistance than that of the RSF type has been achieved by blending a plurality of binder phase reinforcements in good balance.
